We recently had the pleasure of welcoming Dr. Pedro Adalid, Vice President of the Professional Doctors of the Valencian Community and a member of Rotary Club Eliana-Valencia, along with the artist Antonio Camaró, who is recognized by UNESCO as an “Artist for Peace.” They visited Istanbul to learn about the Rotary Peace Center at Bahçeşehir University.

As a special gesture, they presented our university with a collection of lithographs from Camaró’s Homo Ethicus series. This project seeks to raise ethical awareness and create meaningful connections among people from different nations, cultures, religions, and beliefs through the universal language of art and dialogue.

Homo Ethicus collection invites us to reflect on ethics and discover shared values that unite us all.”

In this work, Camaró explores the journey each person and culture goes through, similar to the journey in Dante’s famous story from hell to paradise. His artwork symbolizes the stages and struggles we all share, reflecting how we can move toward unity.

We thank Dr. Adalid and Mr. Camaró for their visit and their commitment to peace.
